Listen: Music Recognition for iPhone
Listen is a native application for the iPhone which will sample music through the microphone and attempt to identify the song, artist and album. The application, by iPhone hacking supremo Erica Sadun, works by sending a five second sample off to a web based music identification server. Currently “very beta”, the app doesn’t fail very gracefully: if no information is found, nothing happens.
